Intermediate Member of CIEP
I qualified as a proofreader with a merit in Essential Proofreading, run by the Publishing Training Centre and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.
With a love for words, even making up my own language when I was three, I feel so lucky to have a job that I enjoy so much.
My degree in Scandinavian Studies, which included Swedish, Danish and Norwegian language, history and literature, has given me a fantastic grounding in language structure.
I have a love of reading and writing, participating in and completing National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) numerous times.
Working from home, in a job I love, enables me not only to stay at home with our little rescue dog, but gives me an opportunity to support animal charities through my work.
